Monday Mentions

How is it already March?? It's scary to think that it was Christmas JUST the other day and now we're almost a third of the way through the year! Anyway, I thought I would start a new series every week called #MondayMentions. I've been discovering quite a few new blogs recently, both local and international and I thought I'd share them. Who doesn't like reading new blogs? And who doesn't like getting new readers? :)

So here are this week's!

Elle & Company is a creative blog from America who I stumbled upon last week and I have fallen in love with her blog! Lauren is a graphic designer and produces amazing branding graphics for companies as well as writing blog posts on helping you to better your brand, blog, website and a host of other entrepreneurship aspects! I really find her blog posts so helpful and inspiring - she really makes me want to turn my blog into this amazing website with all her widgets and ideas! Check her out for helpful posts on boosting your blog and business by using everything from SEO to Pinterest!

Cupcakes and Cashmere is written by the wonderful Emily Shuman and is a lifestyle blog about everything gorgeous! Her posts are always a delight to read and she often posts about links she's recently discovered and loved. She's also written two books - Cupcakes and Cashmere and Cupcakes and Cashmere at Home which I'm dying to get my hands on! Emily's blog is easy to read and even easier to enjoy with a cup of tea!

I've been reading LeAna's blog for almost 3 years now and it's definitely one I go back to on a daily basis to check if she's written something new! Her family is utterly gorgeous and LeAna blogs about the real life Christian family of 5 with quite a few DIY's thrown in the mix - she's made her own dresses, skirts, Halloween costumes, baby stuff and even a DIY Jewellery Organizer! She also lovingly refers to her kids as the Boy, the Bug and the Baby - HOW cute? :) She regularly posts the tutorial to any DIY project she takes on which is always helpful!

Shante Hutton is one of my closest friends, so reading her posts is doubly amazing simply because I can see her saying exactly what she's written in the exact tone that she's written it in - and she always makes me laugh! Her sarcastic way of writing has me in stitches 90% of the time and whatsapp'ing her straight after I've read her latest blog post 100% of the time! Her blog post regularly challenge certain ways of thinking, and are always well-written and enjoyable!

If you have any blogs you think I'd love to read, please do let me know! :) Happy Monday!
